These guys! Beginning life from felted wool or cashmere; sewn & filled with scraps and commercial fill and a bit of Jersey Shore for a steady base. Button eyes and fun whiskers, each Kitty has its own unique personality! To sit by the fireplace, a doorstop or up on a shelf. Remind you of a special pet or keep someone company! 

Repurposing wool sweaters involves using as much if not all of a gathered wool sweater or skirt… how can I use it all sparks lots of ideas…cats were one of my first repurposed woolen items. Black cats to pair with Fall pumpkins began the making of the cats!! Now I make them all year and in many different colors, patterns and fabrics and yet they each still have their own personality… I have made special memory cats, Jersey cats, and comfort cats.
